COMMUNITY CPR & EDUCATION
A majority of our funding allows us to train those who are economically disadvantaged. Minorities are two times more likely to suffer a cardiac emergency. This program provides CPR & First Aid information sessions at no cost. Everyone should be equipped to save a life regardless of their socioeconomic status. To date this program has proudly trained individuals at Baytowns Pregnancy Resource Center, the Bay Area Homeless Shelter as well as the WIC Center.
Our "Pay it Forward" program allows current healthcare professionals to sponsor a student in the healthcare field. Upon graduation and hire, former students will sponsor incoming students. Scholarships will also be provided to a select few for this program. All who wish to be considered must submit an email for the application packet. All information will be overseen by the Healthcare Pay It Forward program coordinator Katrina Victor.
